BE YOUR BEST

on your biggest day

the yoga glow for

brides & brides to be

Planning your dream wedding is a glorious journey, but it can also bring stress and anxiety. As a bride, there are so many responsibilities and pressures - from how you look, to how you act and how the day plays out. Many brides say that they struggle with the expectations of their wedding, to the extent that they may not feel present and excited when the day finally arrives. With the average wedding costing over £30,000, it’s easy to see how the demands of the event might add up.

At The Yoga Glow I’m passionate about bringing alignment, serenity and mental calm to people throughout their lives. Having spoken to my clients and seeing the stress induced by planning and preparing for a wedding, this yoga and meditation program is designed specifically for brides & brides to be.

Brides tend to focus their time, attention and even their budget on the external aspects of their wedding, often overlooking an equally important aspect: their emotional and inner well-being.

On your wedding day, you want to feel beautifully serene and entirely in touch with the proceedings. So many couples say that their wedding day flew by and they barely got to enjoy it. With yoga techniques and breathing practices, I can help you to slow down, take in your surroundings and appreciate the exquisite feeling of love.

As you enjoy this day connecting your life to another’s, feel connected with your own body and at one with your own mind.

we were told ‘your wedding will be a blur – it will go by so fast.’

But thanks to yoga & meditation in the morning, I was SO grounded and present on my wedding day that had the exact opposite experience.

It was as if time slowed down and the day lasted forever...

why yoga?

Yoga has vast benefits for the mind, body and soul. As well as helping any beautiful bride glow even more than she already is, it will also:

- settle the mind, align the senses

- help you walk down the aisle with confidence

- balance you in the present moment

- allows you to appreciate the moment & remember it more clearly

- gives you a chance to slow down and become more mindful so you can focus on what is most important - the love and unity of two souls

- prepare you for one of the biggest and most important days of your life

what to expect:

On the morning of your wedding, you may be feeling tense, anxious and full of anticipation.

With a Bridal Yoga session, I’ll encourage you to take it all in - we’ll work on your breathing, easing out any bodily tension and calming nerves in a peaceful environment.

Your bridal party may join you in this act of centering, connecting you all in a moment of bliss on one of the most special days of your life.

Before the excitement of hair and makeup, let me help you to take a moment for yourself.

Throughout the day, you’ll glow with gratitude, carry yourself beautifully and remain relaxed and aligned.

marriage is a union between two individuals & two families, whilst yoga creates unity between your mind, body and heart. The word ‘yoga’ comes from the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit meaning ‘join’, or ‘unite’ – it literally means ‘union’.

How perfect it is then to start off a day with a practice that is all about two becoming one.

how it works:

We provide everything you need for a morning of exceptional bliss, or several sessions in the run up to your nuptials.

We customize each session according to your requirements, usually a dynamic style of yoga to get oxygen and prana (energy) moving around your body. Backbends are integral part of the practice so you walk down the aisle and into your marriage with an open heart, ready to give and receive love. The practice ends with a connection to your heart & a gentler yin style of yoga to allow a sense of peace an calm to wash all over you.

Time is precious on the morning of your wedding day - it’s surprising how long it takes to get your bridal party through hair and make up so I come to you. All levels are catered for, so even if the bride does yoga regularly but there are others in the party who are new to it, we have you covered.
